The Community Advisory Council (CAC) is a forum for consumers - not health care professionals, or people working in health/community services. No special education or qualifications are necessary- just your first-hand experience with the Gold Coast Health System.
The CAC provides advice and recommendations from the community perspective to the Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) Board.
Your first-hand experiences will guide the impact of a broad range of local health initiatives across mental health, older people, patient experience, cancer screening and more.
What will you do?
Share personal experience as a cxonsumer of health services on the Gold Coast.
Attend meetings on a Friday every second month
Complete occasional pre-meeting reading and provide written post-meeting feedback
Be paid for your time and efforts
